The Best Place to Eat in Prescott: The Local
According to the Trip Advisor, the number one place to eat in Prescott, Arizona is a little unsuspecting place, off the beaten path, or in other words off Whiskey Row. Owners Sheryl Strong and Rob Mackey have created a hip vibe with a unique menu, and they call it The Local.
The name, The Local is just what it means: locally owned and locally served. Everything is made from scratch with only the finest ingredients, and purchased from local farmers and businesses, such as Kelly Beef and Ridgeview Farms. They serve breakfast all day long, as well as lunch until 2:30pm daily, except Wednesdays when they are closed.
Their menu has unique combinations like biscuits and green chili sausage gravy or a breakfast potpie which you won’t find on just any menu – and dessert options that would make Grandma proud! Here are a few of the reviews we found on Trip Advisor…
“In a very unassuming location is some of the best food in Prescott. Yes, you may have to wait for a table, but it is well worth it! ALL of the food is homemade and simply delicious!”
“If you live in Prescott or are visiting, do your body a favor and eat at The Local. We went back several times during our visit and this will now be a staple we look forward to visiting when in town!”
“This is likely the best place in town. The food and service is great. Natural unprocessed but tasty. The flat pancakes rock!”
