CP Technologies Chooses Prescott for New Facility

July 21, 2020

Crystal Creek isn’t the only company committed to building in Prescott. CP Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of computer hardware based in San Diego, broke ground on its new local headquarters and manufacturing facility in late June. Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, the 50,000 sq. ft. facility will be located near SR 89 and Deepwell Ranch/Crystal Lane.

CP Technologies makes rugged computer hardware for military, industrial and commercial markets. Their products are designed to withstand shock, vibrations and harsh environments.

Arizona’s weather and support for the unmanned aerial vehicle market attracted the company. According to a news release, CP Technologies is partnering with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Yavapai College and expects to create 200 jobs over the next four years.

“CP Technologies’ selection of Prescott demonstrates the quality of talent, pro-business environment and strategic location the region provides to high-tech manufacturers,” said Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “We thank CP Technologies for its significant investment in Arizona, one that will create hundreds of quality jobs for our residents and support our state’s global competitiveness.”

Prescott mayor Greg Mengarelli added, “We are proud of our quality of life, world class educational resources and excellent transportation links here in Prescott. All of these have allowed us to attract outstanding, high wage technology jobs like those that CP Technologies is bringing.”

We warmly welcome CP Technologies to Prescott and look forward to helping their employees grow with our community.

You deserve a Crystal Creek home.
