Earth Day Celebration in Prescott Valley
Movies on the big screen, refreshments, a Rain Dance and heaps of information on conservation and sustainability highlighted the second annual Earth Day Celebration in Prescott Valley which began on Tuesday, April 21st and ends today, April 22nd.
Join in the Northern Arizona University celebration of Earth Day at their Prescott Valley Campus located at 7351 E. Civic Circle in Prescott Valley today from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy art, movies, local vendors, speakers, solar displays, a rain dance by the Yavapai-Apache, and much more.
The Earth Day Celebration also includes kicking off with a Sustainable Art Display in the Crystal Room of the Prescott Valley Public Library located at 7401 E. Civic Circle. The library features several sustainable art projects on display, created from materials such as cotton, recycled papers and plastic buckets. The Library will also be screening some wonderful Earth Day related documentaries and movies throughout the day. For more event details click here.
