Four Fun Things to Do for Halloween in Prescott

Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, but don’t let that stop you and your little ghouls and goblins from having a great time! Here are four fun things to do for Halloween in Prescott.

1.) Halloween Wheel O’ Treats and Costume Parade: Tuesday and Wednesday, October 30 and 31 — Adults and children alike are invited to join a variety of Halloween themed events planned at the Prescott Public Library. Show off your Halloween costume in a library parade, then spin the wheel for a special treat on Wednesday, October 31 at 4 p.m. No registration required. For children of all ages. Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library. http://www.prescottlibrary.info/halloween-at-the-library/

2.) Cash for Candy on Halloween: This Halloween, Kevin and Amelia Schaefer of Spirit West Advisors, LLC. will be offering children 12 and under a novelty piggy bank and one dollar for every pound of Halloween candy that they turn in, while accompanying parents will receive a free copy of the “Spirit West guide to teaching children about saving.” Located at 511 E Gurley St, Prescott cash for candy will be offered between 5pm. and 7pm. on October 31st, 2018. Teaching children the value of money in a way they can relate to, while reducing the amount of sugary candy they take home is a win-win activity for both kids and parents . . . with the added bonus that all candy collected will be donated to Veterans and local Prescott charities. http://www.prescott-az.gov/event/cash-for-candy-on-halloween/
