Fireworks Celebration: Celebrate the Independence Day on the cool grass with amusement rides from giant water slides to a mechanical bull on Monday, July 4th at Mile High Middle School located at 300 S Granite St., Prescott. 129th Annual World’s Oldest Rodeo®: Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the World’s Oldest Rodeo® consists of both roughstock, or judged events (bareback, saddle bronc and bull riding) and timed events (steer wrestling, tie-down and team roping, and barrel racing) during each of the scheduled eight world-class performances. Prescott Rodeo Days Fine Art and Crafts Show: Corresponding with the World’s Oldest Rodeo®, the Prescott Rodeo Days Fine Art and Craft Show is a gathering of hundreds of vendors and performers in Prescott’s Historic Downtown Courthouse Plaza. This event attracts thousands of locals and out of town visitors every year. This year, the show is scheduled for July 2nd, 3rd and 4th in addition to the Frontier Days Parade, Whiskey Row (cowboy) Boot Races, street dances and more.
