Summer just isn’t summer without the Prescott Film Festival! Prescott residents and tourists alike are excited for the return of the 7th Annual Prescott Film Festival beginning this Sunday, July 17th through Sunday July 24th at the Yavapai College Prescott Campus Performing Arts Center located at 1100 E. Sheldon St., Prescott.

The 2016 Prescott Film Festival features some outstanding films from around the world. Experience unique, fun, quirky and inspirational films in the cool pines of Prescott Arizona! This year’s films are a fantastic blend of comedy, drama, and eye-opening films that are sure to please.

The “Film Noir and Pinot Noir” Wine Tasting event features special guest Beatrice Welles, who will talk about her father, (Orson Welles) film, The Lady from Shanghai, screening after the wine tasting. Best of all, thanks to the Yavapai College Film and Media Arts Program, there will be an impressive slate of ten workshops that will be held during the Prescott Film Festival. These are fantastic offerings for new and experienced filmmakers, movie geeks and lovers of the art form. A wide range of filmmaking topics will be covered.
