People Who Care Non Profit in Prescott
It’s not easy to reach out and ask for help when family and friends are not able or available. However, at times it is necessary. People Who Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides assistance to adults who are unable to drive because of physical limitations, a disability or chronic illness. Enrolled clients receive caring non-medical assistance from volunteers who help residents in the community where they live – in Chino Valley, Prescott, and Prescott Valley/Dewey communities. Crystal Creek Builders Owner, Bud Beshers, is an advisory committee member of the People Who Care organization and is proud to help assist those in need in the Prescott community.
The mission of People Who Care is to provide caring volunteer assistance for elderly, chronically ill or disabled adults helping them maintain their sense of independence and quality of life by being able to remain in their own homes and communities.
Throughout the year, more than 500 enrolled client Neighbors receive assistance to help them to be able to stay in their homes and continue living in their communities. It may be a visit to the grocery store a few times a month, a ride to the doctor’s office or the bank, help with paperwork, or maybe just a friendly visit from a volunteer, or phone calls during the week.
People Who Care volunteers are truly the hearts and hands of a caring community.
