Prescott Farmers Market in Full Bloom this Spring
There are countless reasons to shop at local farmers markets. Buying from your local farmer allows you to support local economy and agriculture, you get access to less costly and fresher organic fruits and veggies, and the food just tastes better! Freshly picked, in season produce is at its peak in flavor and nutrition. Best of all, supporting your local farmers market strengthens your community.
The Prescott Farmer’s Market is in full bloom this spring, delivering fresh local produce to all the residents of Yavapai County. Visit the farmers market Saturday, March 18th from 10am to 1pm and every Saturday all season long at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center Pendleton Center parking lot located at 1003 Willow Creek Rd., Prescott.
The Prescott Farmers Market, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, started in 1997 with just a few farmers and lots of energy and enthusiasm. Since then, the PFM supports outreach and education about locally grown food and agriculture. Today they have over sixty vendors, and thousands of customers visit each week for the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and locally crafted artisan foods in Central Arizona. Come out and support local agriculture by shopping local for the highest quality locally grown food – sold directly to you by the growers.
